Disclaimer: This series deals with potentially distressing themes as participants share their survival stories. Disclosing and discussing your story may bring up various feelings, which may cause discomfort. I am not a mental health professional - I can not give licensed counselling or any kind of professional mental health support. Your consent will be re-affirmed throughout this process. Your consent will be solicited at the following points, at minimum: consent to share your story with me, to have your submission selected, consent to the artistic idea chosen to portray your story, and the extent of inclusion of your identity. As such, all participants must be 18 years of age or older, or have a parent/guardian provide consent in writing.

Stories will be shared, but your identity may remain confidential.
